OK Cupid bans white supremacist for life.

Courtesy of WaPo:

After a Vice documentary about last weekend’s Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville featured white supremacist Chris Cantwell, he was banned from Facebook. And on Thursday, he was kicked off OkCupid as well.

The online dating site announced the decision via Twitter and followed up by tweeting that “there is no room for hate in a place where you’re looking for love.” The site also asked users to report anyone who appears to be involved in a hate group.

Chief executive Elie Seidman gave a statement to Gizmodo saying, “OkCupid has zero tolerance for racism. We make a lot of [decisions] every day that are tough. Banning Christopher Cantwell was not one of them.”

Just in case you are having a little difficulty remembering who this Chris Cantwell douchbag is, it's this douchebag.
I also heard that Pay Pal kicked him off and that he no longer has a source of income.

I am going to try and shed a tear for him just as soon as I am finished rolling on the floor and laughing.

Hairs stood up on my neck watching him say what you quoted. Listening to him on the Vice video say specifics then declaring an opposite reality (we are peaceful, win for us she died etc.) I felt increasing horror to consider what shit they talk on the internet if he was enthusiastically proud in what he said, displayed, and participated in.

For Trump to chose to defend them reinforcing nice people who only wanted to protest taking a statue down editing to delete all but that despite their public outspoken views, intentions and even arsenals of weapons spoke volumes.

Yes, you do. And there are consequences for the "shit" that rolls out of your gibbering piehole, you moronic pile of steaming poo.

Whatever gave you the idea that the internet is a consequence-free zone?

@5:11 "1979 Greensboro massacre, when Ku Klux Klan members shot and killed five people at a workers’ demonstration in North Carolina. A group of cars pulled up. KKK members jumped out of the vehicles, killed a group of communists, then drove away.

"I was seen as a kind of mouthpiece: I distributed leaflets at high schools and on college campuses and operated a phone hotline for my main group, White Aryan Resistance, for four counties. My friends and I took our organization’s newsletters, rolled them up and delivered them—each stamped with our phone number, just in case the recipient was curious. Because of this propagandist role, I was told to distance myself from the guys I knew who may have been making bombs and stockpiling weapons"
"When I was associated with the older white supremacist groups, we were told to go to college, to grow our hair out, to not get tattoos, to join the military, to get into influential business and political roles if possible—to become embedded in respected parts of society. Today’s alt-right has done that, from Spencer’s “think tank” that calls itself the National Policy Institute"
"I left the movement—eventually—but it was a long, slow process. It started when I was in a supermarket with my young son, who called a black man the N-word. To see him repeat my mistakes made me ashamed in a way that went deeper than my shame over my own choices."
"a few years after severing all my ties to my former white supremacist friends, I went on a date with a Jewish woman from Texas. We’ve been married for 18 years."

  13. The twitter account "Yes, You're a Racist" is outing these bastards. Crowdsourcing it. Putting photos up from the march with "do you know these guys"? Asking for names and info.

    https://twitter.com/YesYoureRacist

Several have been found on Facebook. Hopefully they will be banned.

Several have lost their jobs as the companies they work for have zero tolerance for nazis and hate groups.

Verizon is still looking for the guy marching in Verizon gear. I have no doubt they will find him and he will be unemployed.

They can't use Facebook. Google or Paypal. I imagine blog hosts like Wordpress will start to go after them too.

    http://americannewsx.com/politics/racism/nigel-krofta-job-charlottesville/

"Nigel Krofta’s employer must have gotten a lot of angry messages because, on Monday, Limehouse & Sons posted an announcement on Facebook to “assure our friends and our customers that we do not condone the actions of the people involved in this horrific display that has taken place in Charlottesville, VA.” They added, “people like this have no place in our society.” When a commenter asked whether Nigel Krofta was fired, Limehouse & Sons replied, “He is no longer an employee of Limehouse & Sons.”"

"Cole White from Berkeley, Calif. lost his job with Top Dog, a hot dog chain, after people on social media informed them of his extracurricular activities. “Effective Saturday 12th August, Cole White no longer works at Top Dog,” the top brass wrote in an email statement. “The actions of those in Charlottesville are not supported by Top Dog. We believe in individual freedom and voluntary association for everyone.”"

"Peter Cvjetanovic, the “screaming torch guy” also got outed". There's a petition to University of Nevada and Reno asking for them to expel him. An excellent letter from an alumni asking the same. Since Peter is taking History and Political Science, I'd say the easiest and least litigious way to get rid of him would be to flunk him out. He's obviously learned nothing and considering his white nationalists beliefs (and the belief that he is NOT a racist) he never will learn anything.)

As they are exposed, they are unemployed.

I do hope someone is taking names and going through Facebook, Twitter, all of the dating sites, etc. and reporting every one of these douchebags.

While White Supremacy isn't restricted solely to men, I would bet there aren't enough like minded women to go around, hence they're resorting to dating websites.

After the exposure they've gotten, I dare say prostitutes will start giving them a wide birth. For some of these guys that is probably the only way they can get laid.

I think old Peter is still a virgin. Wonder if he was breaking into falsetto when he was screaming.

the threat of loss of jobs, social media and the like will keep a lot of these creeps under control. it is unfortunate but they do have the right to assemble and freedom of speech. we cannot deny them these freedom, for if we do, how soon will we lose ours? the Forefathers set tis up for us, and we must follow the rules, which is what the ACLU was doing. however, the loss of carrying their guns to speeches is the correct thing to do. speech, NOT violence. i love the fact that this ass got kicked off the dating site!!! let them be kicked off anything that has rules for no violent speech or nazi attitude. have sex with your guns, jerks.
