Donald Trump does not need your stinking White House Correspondent's Dinner, he will be holding a poorly attended Right Wing rally instead. So there!

Aw, the ignorant, the racist, the frighteningly pale, or as I call them, my base.
Courtesy of Raw Story:

US President Donald Trump will lead a political rally during this year’s White House Correspondents’ Association dinner, his campaign team has announced, opting to hold the event in the small town of Washington, Michigan.

It is the second consecutive year Trump will be snubbing the annual dinner, amid his sustained attacks on much of the news media, and also the second time he has chosen instead to rally in a key battleground state he won in his 2016 election after speaking last year in Pennsylvania.

His campaign chief operating officer Michael Glassner made it clear that choosing Washington, a town of some 25,000 people on the outskirts of auto manufacturing hub Detroit, was no coincidence.

“While the fake news media will be celebrating themselves with the denizens of Washington society in the swamp that evening, President Trump will be in a completely different Washington, celebrating our national economic revival with patriotic Americans,” he said in a statement released to the media.

Aww, does little Donnie not want to get his fee fees hurt by a girl in front of millions of Americans?

It should be noted that presidents have been attending this thing since way back in the 1940's even though they knew they would be the butt of many of the jokes.

Ronald Reagan only missed one because he had been shot the month before.

But Trump is such a fucking baby that he cannot stand to have anybody make fun of him, as we saw for ourselves during the 2011 WHCD.

I think this year Trump is especially worried about being made fun of by a girl.

Which is truly pathetic especially after Michelle Wolf double dog dared him to show up.
Only a true pantywaist would turn tail and run from that.

He seems to be ignorant as to how this looks. Makes himself appear weak; not Presidential at all. Running away from the ribbing he may get from comedians shows just how insecure he is.

    Michael Flynn tests 'comeback tour'

Hailed by Trump allies as a victim of Mueller overreach, Trump's fired national security adviser makes speaking appearances.

    Another WTF moment.

Mike Flynn just gave a foreign policy speech in NYC and folks paid $10,000 to attend.

Did he lead them in a "lock her up" chant?
Was Ollie North the warm up speaker?

    The USA is sinking fast.

Flynn and the likes should not be allowed to speak at all. All money should be taken for damages that he caused. Flynn is a little liar and committed several crimes that he has not paid for nor has he served his sentence.

9:04'Manafort and Gates are central figures to this investigation, allow me to expand below. A Russian Oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, worked with them for years. Deripaska was recently in the news, he was the oligarch that was recorded by an escort. The recording shows him meeting a Russian Deputy Prime Minister a month after Manafort had established email correspondence with Deripaska. They were likely exchanging intel}. We also know that Gates was in communication with former GRU Officer Kilimnik weeks before the election. Kilimnik was a liaison between Manafort and Deripaska in Kiev for years. Alex van der Zwaan lied about these communications and has been sentenced to 30 days in prison. Gates has been Manafort's right hand man for years and was very involved in the Trump campaign even after Manafort stepped down as Campaign Manager. Gates is reportedly pleading guilty to charges laid out by Special Counsel Mueller's indictment, a clear indication that he is ready to cooperate with investigators.
Email } between Russian Oligarch Deripaska and former Trump Campaign Manager Manafort will be important in understanding why Manafort is a key figure to this investigation. According to videos recorded by an escort that were discovered by Russian opposition activist, Alexei Navalny, show Deripaska meeting a Russian Deputy Prime Minister on a yacht 1 month after the email correspondence between Manafort/Deripaska took place. Russia has threatened to block access to social media sites, such as YouTube and Instagram, if they do not remove the videos of Deripaska and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Prikhodko meeting on the yacht.
Manafort was brought into the Trump campaign as Chairman to corral delegates at the convention, it was at this time where the Trump campaign pressured the GOP to make a specific change to the platform. An amendment proposed that the GOP commit to sending lethal weapons to Ukraine to fight Russian aggression was softened considerably at the request of the campaign.
We know Manafort offered to give a Russian billionaire private briefings on the campaign trail, the oligarch was Deripaska. Manafort used a campaign account for the aforementioned email correspondence.
Gates and Manafort's ties to Deripaska are deep and date back at least a decade. They partnered over a massive real-estate deal in 2008.
Back in 2006 Manafort offered a deal to Russian oligarch Deripaska where he indicated he would offer a great service in pushing Putin's policies abroad. He was paid very handsomely by Deripaska.
“We are now of the belief that this model can greatly benefit the Putin Government if employed at the correct levels with the appropriate commitment to success,” Manafort wrote in the 2005 memo to Deripaska. The effort, Manafort wrote, “will be offering a great service that can re-focus, both internally and externally, the policies of the Putin government.”
In 2014 Deripaska sued Manafort for a cool $19M claiming that Manafort and Gates had stolen funds intended for an investment. The Associated Press were the first ones to discover their business dealings and Deripaska attempted and failed at suing the AP for libel.
-Manafort worked as Trump's campaign chairman for free. In 2006 Manafort bought a condo in Trump Tower.
Manafort was present at the infamous Trump Tower meeting where adoptions were discussed with Russian operatives. Adoptions is an established euphemism used in reference to the Magnitsky Act, sanctions that are meant to cripple the power of Putin. President Trump's son, son-in-law, and Campaign Manager met with Russians with the expectation of receiving damaging information about Clinton. One of the Russian operatives present at the infamous Trump Tower meeting, Rinat Akhmetshin, has ties to Russian intelligence and has a history of being embroiled in court cases related to hacking campaigns.During Fusion GPS CEO Glenn Simpson's Congressional testimony he confirmed that the Trump campaign likely received foreign intelligence aid as Manafort had close ties to Russian Intel}.'

It's been implied that Don Jr. was too thick to understand that the Magnitsky Act as it relates to Russian adoptions was enacted as retribution for sanctions. Don Jr. couldn't see thet were discussing i"n code" for easing the sanctions. He literally thought it was about adoption as he claimed.

First of all Washington MI is a very nice area, too bad it will be stunk up by trump swamp gas.

    1. Not so far that protesters can't show up.

He has his nerve. Didn't he promise to save jobs? Union auto workers must hate his guts by now.

He should stick to rallies in Palm Beach from now own. Stay among his own kind, but I suspect even they can't stand him.

Washington, MI is in Macomb County which gave him the "win" in MI, I don't think many protesters will show up.

Not sure about the union workers anymore, King Rick made MI a right to work state and has undermined the auto unions.

I think he picked Washington MI, because he thinks he is being clever.

I haven't been there is years but the claim to fame is the Octagon house and apple orchards which are probable all subdivisions at this point. Maybe he will talk about tariffs on apples :)

Also he gave himself away again when he never questioned Comey if the russians had interfered in the election. that is because he already knew the election was rigged.

Last year he had his rally in Harrisburg, PA, an easy-to-get-to place from cities in all directions, but we know how Trump had people working to make sure his rallies were well attended, and so who knows how many people were there simply because they wanted to get off on spending the evening with him and how many were there due to behind-the-scenes efforts. Trump’s people often bussed out-of-towners to rallies to make it look like he had tens of thousands of adorers who could think of nothing more worth their time than being at a rally. This time, there will definitely be a lot of work going on to make sure his rally in Michigan is packed.

He was asking the press if they saw the crowds in Key West, that they should be very interested in the crowds that showed up.

Does he have a PR person that pays these people to show up? Maybe that is where more of the campaign money is going.

The Dotard will get butthurt. He doesn't want anyone making fun of him. Remember when Obama was teasing him back at one of those correspondent dinners and the guy wouldn't laugh. That's probably why he had those prostitutes pee on the bed in Moscow. Trump also likes to get even.
Houston, we know we have a thinned skinned diktator in the white house when he won't allow laughter at his expense. If he had his way he would have everyone jailed, or thrown off a balcony.
Plus, there really isn't anything funny about Donald. He's just bleh. I mean I know I laugh my head off when SNL imitates him but in reality he is not funny. Nor does he ever laugh from the heart.
